Birthing Analysis

This report is used for both management and diagnostic purposes. It lists the number of females served per user-defined time periods, then tracks gestational fall-out by week or days of gestation. Filters include Presumed Pregnant, Not-Pregnant, Returned to Estrus, Pregnancy Check Negative, Aborted, Found Open, Culled, and Deaths.

From left to right you can follow the number of served females still pregnant by days or weeks of gestation, to the number of resulting birthings in the time period. In the summary you see the total for each gestational period as well as the total number of non-productive days due to fall-out. Another typical use of this report is to predict the birthings in future time periods. As with other Ovitec reports, the user can modify the report completely, adding new variables or altering its format.

The parameter box allows you to select the time periods and filters for the report. The service time periods can be defined by days, weeks, months or years. Report types include filters for the service result of females that are either presumed to be pregnant, not-pregnant, returned to service, pregnancy checked negative, aborted, found open, culled or dead. You can define your own categories for days of gestation, and even add an additional filter, for example genetics.
